Which makes my insistence on using it online kind of misleading, I know. Fun fact though - growing up, it’s what all my uncles and aunties called me in their heavy Hong Kong accents (toe-fahh).
But most people just call me Chris, or Christopher for long.
A random assortment of facts: I’m a two-time graduate school dropout (one, two), I obsessively watch every singing show on television, my drink of preference is oolong tea, organic chemistry was one of my favorite classes in college, Roller Coaster Tycoon was my favorite game as a kid, I frequently bemoan the lack of good Hainanese Chicken Rice in San Francisco, and I originally fell in love with design in junior high because of Neopets (which is apparently a common story). After six years as a designer, I finally got tired of making mock-ups and decided to learn how to code from some exceptionally generous and kind coworkers at Remind.
I strive to live my life, personally and professionally, at the intersection of my passion for design, my deeply held faith, my convictions about social justice, and my love of people and community.
